Esther is the creative visionary and designer behind the brand. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Esther and her family sought refuge from war and resettled in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2011. Nine years later, she founded Unapendeza — a brand born from her passion for celebrating Congolese culture and showcasing its vibrant artistry to the world.
At Unapendeza, every product not only brings joy and a touch of Africa into the lives of its customers but also fosters a sense of community. Esther’s designs inspire cultural exploration, celebrate diversity, and encourage everyone to embrace their unique identity through fashion.
